The 4th Annual Reno Mini Maker Faire will be the greatest show-and-tell and largest DIY festival in the Reno/Tahoe region. As a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, it is a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where makers – tech enthusiasts, artists, homesteaders, scientists, student clubs, and everyone in between, show what they are making and share what they are learning. This community-based learning event inspires everyone to become a maker and connect with other people and projects in our region. It emphasizes exploration, innovation, creativity and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) and Do-It-Together (DIT) cultures. Featuring DIY science and technology, urban farming and alternative energy, arts and crafts, music, local food, and more, it is an all ages, family-friendly community celebration. In their simplest form, Maker Faires create opportunities and spaces for conversations and collaboration for makers of all types and stripes. We encourage everyone to come and share, learn, and be a part of Reno’s growing community of makers!
